Benefits

Paid time off and holidays

We offer liberal paid time off benefits including sick time, vacation, personal holidays, and observance of major holidays. In addition, the office is closed one Friday in June for the famous LGSH office hike and brunch at the beach in Malibu. We are also always closed the Friday after Thanksgiving.


Medical and Vision

We cover 100% of medical insurance for our full time employees. Employees also have the option to purchase medical coverage for their spouse and/or dependents.


401(k) Plan and Profit Sharing Plan

Full-time employees are eligible to defer a portion of their income into a 401(k) plan. They are also eligible to participate in the firm’s profit sharing retirement plan, where the firm makes an annual contribution on the employee’s behalf.


Cafeteria Plan

Employees are also eligible to participate in a Section 125 (cafeteria) pre-tax medical and dependent care reimbursement plan.


Life Insurance/Long Term Disability

The firm provides our employees with life insurance and long term disability insurance at no cost to the employee.


Community Service

LGSH employees are encouraged to give back to the community. Many LGSH partners and employees are involved in non-profit organizations.  Each year, the day before Thanksgiving, LGSH employees deliver Thanksgiving Holiday Baskets to over 1,000 families.


CPA License Reimbursement

We encourage our accountants to obtain their CPA licenses. LGSH reimburses our staff for the cost of their initial CPA license and subsequent renewals. LGSH also covers the total cost of CPE for our accountants to ensure they comply with the California State Board of Accountancy requirements.


Mentoring/Buddy system

When you join the LGSH team, you are assigned to a “Buddy” to help you get acclimated.   We also work with our staff to make sure they have the ability to be mentored by other great staff members and/or partners.


Office Attire

We have a business casual dress policy in our office that allows our employees to look professional while wearing relaxed clothing including jeans.


Bonus for Business Generation

We encourage our personnel to generate business for our firm and we pay bonuses for business generated.


Summer Alternative Work Hour’s program

During the summer months, generally from mid-May through mid-August, full time employees are eligible to participate in a “flex” schedule, allowing them to have certain scheduled weeks with a four-day work week.


Flexible hours

Office hours are from 8:30am to 5:30pm.  LGSH employees have the ability to shift to an earlier or later schedule, based on their personal preferences (with manager approval).


Working remotely

With prior approval and in certain circumstances, we offer the opportunity to work remotely by using a secure remote access.
