Steve Lacher got his first taste of public accounting during his college days and when working at a Mid 6 Firm in their audit department. That same year, Steve married, graduated from college, and began working in public accounting at a small local firm in Los Angeles. He then became a CPA and relocated to another firm, with only five employees at the time. That small firm has grown to over 65 employees and today is known as LGSH LLP.
Over 30 years ago, Steve found his passion through volunteering and helping organize and administer non-profit adult and youth sports leagues, activities, and programs. Through active involvement and leadership, many long lasting business and personal relationships were established and have successfully continued for many years. The life lessons learned through Steve’s volunteer work has translated into this thriving CPA firm, now transitioning to a third generation of management and ownership.
Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University.
Steve and his wife Monica have two children and their family has grown to include four grandchildren. Continuity and growth have become a way of life for Steve, both personally and professionally.
